Customer Reviews
Great tires for the price. I put 3 stars for tread life: I cannot know after just 2000 miles! ;-D
The tires for the Malibu as well as the tires for the Spectra that I recently purchased have been good and are wearing well. These cars are driven by my sons so my direct experience is limited. The tires i recently purchased for the 2014 Escape however concern me. The car has very low milage for the year and the previous owner purchased Michelin tire that seemed to be wearing well. I made an appointment to have them balanced and rotated. This car is driven by my daughter and she was going off to college in west Texas. The associate told me the front tire were worn in the middle and required replacing. I felt they didn't have the mileage to be replaced and he was able to get a credit from Michelin. He said the rear tires were good and rotated them to the front and sold me certificates for them as the previous owner had not purchased the protection. I did some other maintenance myself and then had the car in the shop for some transmission work. The technicians told me the front tires were cupped and that much of the noise I reported was in fact tire noise, these tires are more than 5 years old. They rotated the tire to the back where they were before and the noise has been reduced and is realized to be coming from the back,(tires). I spent $527 for 2 tires and certificates and now those tire are bad, the car is in west Texas and I am concerned that my daughter is driving on tires that should have been replaced. For the money i spent I certainly could have purchased 4 quality tires . Now I'm in a position of buying tires for a car 300 miles away, with certificates that are useless.
For a very cost effective tire, I would highly recommend.
