I have taken my car to this location everytime but once and have been nothing short of knowledgeable and friendly, usually work with Alex store manager but this past time he was not working when I needed service. 5 stars all around!!

About a month ago, my wife took our car into the Wiley Blvd location in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. One of the tires was losing air. They didn't check the tire, they filled it, told her it was fine and sent her away. Later that night she woke me up because the tire was going flat again. I took it to a gas station to try and put air in it but the valve stem was damaged and I ended up having to put the spare tire on the car at midnight in the cold. The next day I took the car back to the same location, asked why it hadn't been fixed properly the night before and why the valve stem had been damaged and not repaired. The technician accused me of having an attitude and then lied to me. He told me the valve stem required a "special chuck" to put air in it. He then refused to help me all together and I had to wait for the manager. I explained the situation to him, that the tire was damaged and the valve stem was damaged and that both needed to be repaired the night before. He (Andrew) apologized and assured me it would be taken care of. An hour later I left the location with what I was assured was a repaired tire. Friday night, due to the cold, air pressure had dropped in all of my tires. I was only able to put air in three of them because the air valve on the tire had not been repaired as promised and again leaving me with a flat tire on a cold night. Saturday I returned to the location on Edgewood, very upset about the service I have received from your company and was again lied to, this time by Andrew. He told me that the valve had been repaired on my last visit. How is this possible when it was still broken and why I was there. Is this common practice for your company? To lie your customers as if they're just too stupid see through it? I will not be returning to any of your locations, I will never give your company another dollar. Also, I work in customer service. I deal with 300 plus people a day in Cedar Rapids and I assure you that every single one of them that gives me 30 seconds of their time will hear about my experience with Discount Tire.

Many years ago I was told to walk away from a cafe that had a help wanted sign in the window. When I saw your papers by the computer screen trying to get people to work for you I should have known you were short staffed. I thought the tire rotation and balance check took way longer than it needed I could have rotated my tires at home With a floor jack and cordless impact Wrench by myself in less time. . You are overbooking which causes the customer some consternation.
