About Our Tire Shop

Head to Discount Tire in the heart of North Central Austin for your rims and tires. Our store is located northbound on U.S. Highway 183 (Research Boulevard), between Payton Gin Road and North Lamar Road. We offer a complimentary air pressure check and inspection!

We have a clean store with a friendly staff that wants to keep you safe on the road. Enjoy free Wi-Fi in our showroom while our experts perform precision work in our three state-of-the-art service bays, including wheel and tire installation, rotation, balancing, and repair.

If you prefer to shop or eat, we have plenty around us to choose from! For food, check out Sugar Pine Restaurant, Taco Cabana, Tam Deli & Café, Church’s Chicken, and many more! If you want to shop, we are by Target, Metro Mart, PetSmart, O’Reilly Auto Parts, Archery Country and Foot Solutions. For entertainment, we are near Capitol City Comedy Club, North Austin Rock Gym and King Billiards.

David went far above and beyond to help my young daughter get back on the road safely! I can't speak highly enough of how he helped her and continued to help her until the issue was resolved. He really took the stress and worry off this mom who is over four hours away. Thank you!!
