I have shopped this store for a couple decades. That should tell it all. Occasionally I have had some sort of road trouble/ flat and they always replace the tire without an issue. One example was in 2021 I got a sidewall cut in Montana on my RV. Discount tire was not in the area so I purchased a Cooper tire from a local tire shop. Michelins were on the RV. The local Montana shop kept the damaged tire since I did not want to haul it back to Texas. When I got back with a picture of the cut, Discount Tire replaced the tire and allowed me to keep the Cooper I had purchased in Montana as the spare. Another time I had a flat in town on a small Honda and the tire was destroyed. I put on the doughnut spare and drove to DT. They did not have the exact size I needed but I bought a slightly larger size anyway - replacing all 4 tires. They advised the doughnut being 20 years old should also be replaced which was good advice. It turned out those tires, being larger than OEM, did not drive well so I returned when DT got the correct size in stock and they replaced the set with no charge. They never try to upsell their product and are always willing to discuss options for different brands of tires. Also, if the tires I want are not in stock, they do not try to sell me something else just to make the sale but get them ordered. I have learned to shop their inventory on-line, get them ordered if necessary and then get them installed. Being a private company, they do not sell stock, otherwise I would invest in them.

Discount tire has been my go to tire shop since I've been here when looking for new tires. Fair pricing, the employees knowledgeable, always bustling, working hard. Great store!

We moved our family down in February and last week a rock blew a tire on my TTs. In Seattle there are so few locations you can expect to drive 30m or more to your nearest. However, in Texas Discount Tire makes its bread and butter from these unkempt roads! (lol) As such, finding and scheduling an appointment was easier than I’ve ever encountered. Expecting the next appointment to be a few days, at least out, I was overjoyed to get my vehicle in the next morning at 9am - and it was 2 minutes from where we live! When I pulled up to the store; it was busy! I’ve never seen a discount tire so popular before, but I was greeted the moment I walked in by everyone in a red shirt and even greater than that - I was checked in; assisted; vehicle inspected; and key turned over within no more than 15 - 20 minutes. Johnathan was patient as I tried to explain, horribly, my exact issue. He was able to settle my nerves by letting me know the tire was very likely reparable. Beyond that, a first for me at any service shop - he inspected my windshield wiper blades, informed me of their condition, and offered a possible replacement. My husband and I returned to running errands but my vehicle took less than 30 minutes to repair and have prepared for me. When I entered the store; due to the repair being FREEEE (lol) Johnathan approached me at the back of a 3 person deep line and handed me my key. Not having to stand and wait to be given my car key and be told to have a great day means a lot more to a busy bee than most appreciate. Thank you Johnathan, for taking care of my baby so diligently! To your manager; give that child an extra PTO day! That place looked like a buffet in Seattle on a Sunday afternoon - it was the middle of a Wednesday (haha)

The Kyle, TX location is by far my favorite location out of all of the ones I have been to. They are friendly and knowledgeable and I have never had to wait that long ever at this location.

FORREST was highly knowledgeable about products, services, support. FORREST was incredibly accommodating, hospitable, friendly, polite, and professional. I appreciated him greeting me at the door and anticipating needs, I'd assume that FORREST adores his job and customers. FORREST deserves a raise or his own store. I was amazed watching him facilitate the flow of the store, respectfully servicing each customer with great ease. I'd assume FORREST is the model employee, regardless if his employer or industry.
