My experience at Discount Tire McKinney was a VERY positive one. I booked a 5:45pm appointment online, and upon arriving at the store I was assisted by Tristan...who was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. After walking around my vehicle and inspecting my tires, Tristan showed me options and made good recommendations based on the amount/type of driving that I do. Tristan was great in that he was honest and forthright, and he never attempted to sell me anything I didn't need. He also assisted me in signing up for the Discount Tire card to make payments, which was quick and painless. At one point, Tristan came inside to inform me that DT only had two of the tires I had purchased in stock. So to make sure I left the store with new tires, Tristan recommended a slightly better and more expensive tire (with a longer warranty) but did not charge me any more than what I'd already paid for the tire I'd originally selected...a great deal! Perhaps the most impressive aspect of my experience was the length of the visit itself. Having scheduled my appointment for 5:45pm, I expected DT to keep my vehicle overnight, which meant I'd have to Uber home and return the next day to pickup my vehicle. Instead, I was able to wait as Tristan promised my tires would be installed, an alignment completed, and new (and free) windshield wipers added...all within 30 minutes. From the time I arrived at DT until the time I left was less than an hour. That's INCREDIBLY IMPRESSIVE for a car service business! Kudos and thank you to Tristan and the Discount Tire McKinney team for a job well done. You've earned another loyal customer!

Sales person only wanted a “sale”. Did not listen to me. Online scheduling is a joke. Salesman was not knowledgeable about where to place a new tire and ASSUMED I was not either.
