New Tires and Wheel Store in San Antonio, TX 78249

Dear Discount Tire Customer Service, I am writing to express my disappointment with the level of customer service I recently received at your store, specifically regarding my interaction with one of your sales associates, Jacob on 07/18/2026 I brought my truck in because I had purchased your tire protection certificates and needed a tire repaired due to a nail. Instead of providing the professional and respectful service I have come to expect from Discount Tire, Jacob made comments implying that I must "have beef with someone" and someone must really hate me because I had a nail in one of my tires. I found this remark to be inappropriate, unprofessional, and completely unnecessary. As a paying customer who invested in your tire protection program, I should not be made to feel as though I am taking advantage of a service that I legitimately purchased. Before leaving the store, I specifically asked that all of my tires be thoroughly inspected to ensure there were no additional issues. Unfortunately, Jacob left before I returned to pick up my truck, and despite my explicit request, another tire still had a nail in it. This oversight demonstrated a lack of attention to detail and concern for my safety. The consequences were significant. Because the additional nail was missed, I later became stranded on the highway and was forced to take another day off work to address a problem that could have been prevented had my request been handled properly the first time. This caused unnecessary inconvenience, lost time, and avoidable stress. My chrome caps were also missing and the majority of my wheels got scuffed. I will need to get them repaired. I went in the next business day had to miss work to get the nail addressed that was missed. I have been a customer of Discount Tire because I trusted your commitment to customer service and safety. This experience fell well short of those expectations. I am disappointed not only by Jacob's aggressive and accusatory approach but also by the apparent lack of care in ensuring my vehicle was safe before it left your store. I respectfully ask that this matter be reviewed with Jacob and the store management so that future customers are treated with professionalism, respect, and the level of attention to detail that situations involving vehicle safety require. I would appreciate a response regarding the steps Discount Tire intends to take to address this matter. I worked with Stephen at the store on DeZavala and IH-10 but spoke to several individuals and was thoroughly impressed with everyone. The store was extremely busy with the recent bad weather but everyone was professional, courteous and knowledgeable. Stephen went above and beyond, helping me to understand tread wear and the performance comparison for several tire options. He then requested my specific set of tires from another location as they were out of stock and was able to install them the same day. The whole crew worked well past closing time and it was clear by their communication and mannerisms that they took great pride in their work. Congratulations to the store leaders for selecting, training, and setting the tone for a truly outstanding team. My wife's car is next and we won't be going anywhere else!
