Why choose the Goodyear Assurance WeatherReady 2 in 255/60R18?

  • Wet-road control: AquaTred Technology and Evolving Traction Grooves help sweep water away from the contact patch and displace water through the life of the tire to support control in rain.

The Weatherready's have always been a good value, especially if you grab them during a sale. I have had them on multiple cars for over a decade. But just to be clear, they are the best at nothing specific, but they are the best in doing everything. So yeah, you want performance, there are better tires, if you want ice traction, there are better tires. However getting those specific tires have a trade off. Be it ride comfort or longevity. But the Goodyear's seem to be the best at combining features. My only gripe, they seem to be more prone to road noise than the previous designs.

I live in a rural area that receives heavy snowfall and these tires perform exceptionally well in this environment. I have and will continue to recommend them.
