Goodyear Assurance WeatherReady 2

Outfit your vehicle with the Goodyear Assurance WeatherReady 2 255/40R21 102W XL VSB, an all-weather touring tire built for drivers who want confident traction in dry weather, rain, cold temperatures, and snow. This 255/40R21 Assurance WeatherReady 2 is a popular fitment for select Ford Mustang Mach-E, Genesis GV60, Tesla Model S, Tesla Model X, Porsche Panamera, BMW i4 models, plus similar sedans, crossovers, SUVs, EVs, and passenger vehicles using 21-inch wheels.

Best for: all-weather shoppers who want severe-winter-rated capability, dependable tread life, and everyday comfort on larger-wheel SUVs, premium crossovers, and EVs, especially in a 255/40R21 size with 102W XL capability.

Why choose the Goodyear Assurance WeatherReady 2 in 255/40R21?

  • Built for sport sedans, premium coupes, performance crossovers, and EV fitments: The 102W XL service description adds extra load capacity for heavier trims, passengers, cargo, larger wheels, and modern crossover or EV applications.

  • All-weather tread compound: The Assurance WeatherReady 2 is designed to adapt to year-round temperatures and changing road conditions, making it a strong choice for drivers who want one tire for multiple seasons.

  • Severe-winter-rated confidence: Its three peak mountain snowflake (3PMSF) designation indicates performance capability in severe winter conditions while still keeping the everyday comfort expected from a touring tire.

  • Wet-road control: AquaTred Technology and Evolving Traction Grooves help sweep water away from the contact patch and displace water through the life of the tire to support control in rain.

  • Tread-life visibility: Goodyear's integrated Wear Gauge helps drivers monitor tread depth over time, and this line is backed by a 60,000-mile treadwear warranty and Goodyear's 60-day satisfaction guarantee.

The Continental tires for my xt4 are super stiff and only last 30k miles. The Goodyears are the opposite. They are rated for 65k miles and make my xt4 ride like a soft Buick. Really they have been a good tire.

One road I drive on often has tar squiggles the tires often grab and I can be all over the place. I do not feel safe in that area. The previous tires did not do that. Neither does my truck react to the tar squiggles.
