Women are sometimes taken advantage of in repair shops, etc. I never feel taken advantage of at Discount Tire. I have a friend who managed a tire store for many years and he has always validated the information provided; condition of tires, in need of replacement, etc. I especially like the tire warranty provided by DT! I have been a customer for at least 2 decades.

New to Gainesville and First time needing replacement tires. I was recommended this place by a friend for their service and quality. I booked a Saturday morning appointment on Thursday afternoon via their website… lots of availability which is nice and easy to book online. I wanted a specific tire so I called into the store to make sure they were in stock. They were not in stock but they were able to order them in time for my Saturday appointment. On Saturday the check in process was easy. They quoted me an hour wait time but had my car done in 40min. Check out was easy as well. Customer service was excellent! Also I love the tire replacement you can add on to your tire purchase which covers patching holes and replacement if they can’t fix it.

Had an appt on Thursday, they called me on Mon to tell me the tires were in. Went in on Tuesday and it took :30 min and I was done and they did excellent work. All balanced. Great price for Perelli tires.

I had a rear back tire that was losing air, I couldn’t see the culprit so I went to DT. The tech found the nail, but stated they couldn’t repair it due to an inside bubble surfacing on the inside which they demonstrated to me. They stated it was due to driving the tire with low pressure? I searched online to possible factors and a bubble on the inside where it is not visible on the outside was usually due to a manufacturers defect. The tech stated is could cause a blow out so true or not on blow out I didn’t take a chance as we still had 800 miles of driving back to Texas. My wife noticed that everyone who did come on ended up making a purchase so she was not too convinced that our situation dictated a replacement tire versus just plugging the tire and repair it? But I’m hoping the tech’s comments of a possible blow out is a true statement due to experience. I’ve trusted Discount Tire for several years.
