We were stranded with a flat tire 55 miles from home so we went to the store in Apache Junction. Yes it was a Saturday in the middle of the day, but people were just standing around waiting to get help. It seems like they were understaffed, but those who were standing at their computers did not acknowledge the people standing in the lines waiting; it was sort of odd. The person that helped us sold me two new tires, a full sized spare, and promised them balanced, rotated, and everything aligned after. I specifically asked to keep the old spare after they changed the two tires and changed my spare to the full size spare. After finally getting helped, we were promised a 3 hour time frame so we walked across the street to get lunch. It was ready quicker, which was great; however, picking it up again we had to wait with the odd standing around and no acknowledgement. Then, after getting the car I realized they did not include my old spare even though I specifically asked. I then AGAIN had to stand around and wait, again with no one acknowledging the lines waiting and seemingly not enough people working the front. Finally, we got the old spare and thought we'd be on our way. Wrong. I get about 5 minutes away, on the freeway - the tires are pulling SO badly that it could have appeared that the driver was intoxicated. The vehicle was NOT doing ANYTHING of the sort prior to my purchasing two new tires and having them installed and the tires rotated at the store. It was terrible. Honestly. I have been driving for 25 years, I have had this vehicle for 6 years, and have had new tires placed on it - NEVER have I actually felt as though the vehicle was bordering on 'scary' to drive. I call the store, they can't do anything. Said they don't have an alignment rack, and told me to call the store near my house. I call the store near my house, they tell me THEY can't help me as THEY don't have an alignment rack, and to call the Tempe store. I then call the Tempe store, and the person I spoke with was very nice, I explained EVERYTHING, and told me to bring the car in. It was nearly 4pm so I was hoping to get it done before they closed. We get to the Tempe store, and once again explained everything. They were nice enough and said they would check the car out. Once it was finally done, almost an hour later - so this is now going on 5 hours trying to get two tires replaced and RE-ALIGNED that we have been waiting all day. The associate Alley pulled my car up to the front door sideways, left it running, and the drivers door wide open while they proceeded to speak to my girlfriend and tell her it was going to cost $89. My girlfriend said no, repeated that this was a store issue, they said "I don't know anything about that", told Alley to speak to me, and WITHOUT even saying a WORD to her, Alley walked inside (still with my car running and door wide open sideways in front of the store) and proceeded to show me the alignment print out and tell me it was going to be $89. AGAIN I explained that wasn't the situation, to which they said "I don't know anything about that".... ok well you were JUST told that was the situation but you STILL came inside, rudely I will say with my car STILL RUNNING and door wide open outside, and tried to get me to pay it again? I told Alley that they can speak with their manager, or the manager at the AJ store or whoever they needed but that WAS the situation. Alley WITHOUT A WORD AGAIN walked away and disappeared behind a door. A few minutes later came back out and said 'Ok you're ready' and handed me the keys and the alignment print out and didn't say anything else. So yeah, overall it was a pretty terrible experience. Why did no one acknowledge all of the people waiting if they were just standing at their computers without a customer in front of them? Why did I have to go back and ask for my spare? Why were my tires misaligned and I given wrong information and the run around? Why was the other associate super rude and kept trying to just get us to pay the $90 instead of ASKING their manager if they 'didn't know anything about it'? AND why did they leave my car running with the door open as if they couldn't even be bothered to close the door?!?! If I hadn't brought my car to the one near my house multiple times with good experiences I would NEVER bring it back to a discount tire based off those experiences

Always attentive, fast and efficient. I take all my vehicles to Discount Tire and have done so for years. Tire balance and rotation, and tire repair, are included with the purchase of a competitively priced set of tires.

Both Daniel and Ryan help me while I was there this time. We found a nail in the tire that was too close to a previous repair to be repaired again. Fortunately I had purchased the road hazard protection so my tire cost less than $42 to have it replaced. Daniel and Ryan were well informed and very professional. I plan to continue having all my tire services done at this location
