This place is great! Because driving home I discovered my tires weren't feeling right. Luckily I was nearby. I drove in and they were able to replace my tire with great customer service and empathy. Thank you Makalikai and Discount Tire Team La Mesa!

We ran over a bolt and our tire was losing air. We pulled into the lot and the associate immediately approached us. He advised us about the bolt. The associate said that it would be about an hour and half because of the amount of people waiting. It was a very busy day. He had us out in about an hour.

Excellent customer service and service no vehicle

I had an excellent experience at Discount Tire in La Mesa, thanks especially to Daniel. I came in with something large stuck in my tire that was causing it to deflate, and I was already stressed because I had an important meeting I needed to get to. I was definitely flustered and frustrated with the situation, but Daniel was incredibly patient, understanding, and respectful throughout the entire experience. He immediately understood that I was in a time crunch, listened to what I needed, and did everything he could to help get me taken care of quickly. I really appreciated the way he treated me, especially knowing that I was clearly stressed. He never made me feel like I was being difficult or an inconvenience. Daniel and the entire team really demonstrated an exceptional level of customer service. I’ve visited other Discount Tire locations and haven’t always had the same experience, so even though the La Mesa location is a little farther from me, this is the location I’ll be coming back to from now on. Thank you, Daniel, for turning a frustrating situation into such a positive experience!

Great associates who appreciate my time and have genuine concern for my tire issues.

Individuals with Appointments should be taken first as they talk the time to schedule. The person who “walk in” 10 min before your appointment time and especially if you are there should not be taken before you. Once I made aware to manager he did make sure I was taken care of. Every single employee I encountered was wonderful!!

1. Parking in the morning is awful, and store employees don't seem to care, so be ready. 2. If you have an appointment, you still have to wait in line behind people who don't have an appointment. 3. They will honor price matching or an AAA discount of $10 per tire, but not both. For me, that was a $40 discount I did not receive after towing my car to their facility.

I was well taken care from start to finish. On the same day that I placed my order online, I received a call to make sure the Method wheels I ordered would definitely fit my vehicle. Additionally, the gentlemen that worked on the install of my new wheels were accommodating, polite, and knowledgeable.

I showed up early AM, two hours before my scheduled new tire mounting. They got me in right away, mounted the tires & did alignment in less than an hour 15 min. I was thrilled ! It was very hot & I had my dog & cat with me ! Thank you !
