About Our Tire Shop

Welcome to Discount Tire serving Grantville, Mission Valley, Kensington, Talmadge, Allied Gardens, and SDSU areas of San Diego. We specialize in new tires and rims!

Find us on Mission Gorge Road, south of Friars Road and North of Interstate 8 (Mission Valley Freeway). Kaiser Permanente Zion Medical Center is to the north of us and Toyota of San Diego and DCH Honda of Mission Valley are to the south. There are many convenient ways to reach our store from either Interstate 8 or 15. 

Stop in for a free air pressure check and inspection. The friendly experts in our four service bays will get your vehicle ready to hit the road quickly. Our services include wheel and tire installation, rotation, balancing, and repair. Watch from the waiting area in our showroom while you enjoy complimentary Wi-Fi. 

Our store is also conveniently situated near shopping and great little food places to grab a coffee or a bite to eat, including Souplantation, Vons, Donut Panic, Iowa Meat Farms, Sombrero Mexican Food, and many others. 

Walk-ins are welcome or schedule an appointment for your convenience.

I walked in shortly after the store opened with a nail in the side wall of my tire. They helped me determine the fix, executed the fix and got me out the door and back on the road in an hour! Extremely impressed with their knowledge, help and speed.

Been going to these guys for 20 years for all our tires cause they're the BEST! Employees are always professional and friendly, tires get mounted and installed quickly, and it's always a good deal too!

I had a flat tire, and decided to drive to Discount Tire since the next available online appointment was 3 in days. The store was fairly busy but I was quoted a wait time of 30-40 minutes so I stayed and waited. 20 minutes later the tire was patched and I was on my way. I have been buying my tires and getting flats repaired there for over 10 years and have always been treated great. Great customer service.
