The staff is friendly and have excellent customer service. They were thorough in inspecting my tire, addressing my concerns and giving recommendations. Even though the wait time was short, iwas still updated throughout the process. I will be back for future tire needs.

If you foresee needing anything for your vehicle, schedule an appointment. I was moved to the front of the line and was in and out within 30 minutes.

Considering the whole store Lobby was under construction and they are working out of a portable office, they were doing the best to work with what they had. Only negative comment is when I went to have my new tire reinstalled once I was told it had arrived, went to the store and tire was MIA.

I initially started coming here because my mom has been a customer at Discount Tire for a while and loved the warranty on the tires. I decided to also use Discount Tire for the same reason, and I have definitely gotten my money’s worth. I have horrible luck with flats and have run over nails 4 or 5 times in the last few months. Every time, I just make an appointment online for the Buford location. I have always received wonderful service when I go. They are friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable. At other places I’ve been to, I always feel like I’m being talked down to because I am a young woman. I’ve never felt that way here, and that is extremely important to me. I’ve never felt like I was being upsold or scammed, either. All of the employees seemed happy to help and my visits have always been smooth. Not to mention, even when they’re busy, my car has never been completed late. In fact, I have almost always gotten my car back early with zero issues. Overall, I love this location and will happily continue to work with them. Would definitely recommend Discount tire to other people.

It was not a good experience. I was quoted too high for a tire I needed replaced, sent to another store to get it (had to make my own appointment at that store to boot), and when I went there, I was told my tires didn’t need to be balanced at rotated prior because they would be balanced and rotated when they put the new tire on. I bought a wiper blade here and the other Discount Fire even checked to make sure it was new because they questioned what the Buford store had been doing (and to make sure the wiper I paid for got put on and not just “sold”). I had a similar experience at my last rotation and balance with the same salesman, Richard, who was urging me to buy new tires even though at the time I did not have the money to get them, and it was not an urgent need based on my tire conditions. I will not come back to the Buford store even though it is closer to my house, and instead, Inwill go to Gainesville because the customer service was better and I did not feel taken advantage of because I was a woman and felt like they cared about me enough to explain what was going on and make me feel safer.
