About Our Tire Shop

Discount Tire is proud to be your choice for tires and wheels in Indianapolis. We’re located on Michigan Rd, south of W 86th St and adjacent to the Michigan Road Branch of the Bureau of Motor Vehicles.

We specialize in new wheels and tires at the best prices along with dependable wheel/tire installation and repair, balance, rotation, and winter tire changes. Stop in for a free air check; we'll also inspect the tread wear on your tires.

While we get your vehicle taken care of in our six-bay facility, you are welcome to wait in our waiting area. You can help yourself to free Wi-Fi while you wait.

If you’d like to shop or dine while we service your vehicle, you have many options within a short walking distance, including Aldi, Big Lots, and Walmart. You can even catch a movie at the Studio Movie Grill just north of our store. 

Walk-ins are welcome! If you prefer, you can schedule an appointment.

Ready for winter? We have the widest selection of snow tires at the best prices around. Did you know we also offer a number of winter-specific services and products? Whether you need to buy or install new tire/snow chains, add studs to your new winter tires or build and install a snow tire and wheel package, we do it all!

And if you already own a set of winter tires and need them installed ahead of this year’s first snowfall, we’ve got you covered. Our staff are winter tire experts, and we can make sure your winter tire changeovers are smooth as ice.

I had a wonderful experience! I walked in about 30 mins ahead of my appointment and the salesman checked me in. When I had questions, he was very helpful in listening and educating me about what the car needed done. They were able to get my tires done in a timely fashion as well as new sensors and lug nuts. The mechanic guy even thanked me for coming in today. Overall the store was clean and the guys were jamming in the back! Seemed like a fun environment to be at on a Saturday. I will be coming back for more services in the future!
