Very professional and fast service. I would recommend to anyone. This kind of service is rare to find anywhere. 5 stars!
Excellent Service!
Discount Tires has been the only place from which I purchase tires. Wide selection of tires, competitive prices, knowledgeable and friendly staff, and they stand behind their products and service.
They did what they said they would do. No upselling, no surprises. That's all a customer can ask for.
Excellent service
I had a nail in one of my tires that was causing a slow air leak. Knowing Discount Tire's reputation for excellent customer service and flat repairs, I arrived at around 9:30 AM as a walk-in. At check-in, I was informed that the wait for walk-ins was approximately 2 to 2½ hours, which seemed perfectly reasonable since I didn't have an appointment. The technician inspected my tire and explained that the tread depth was below 2/32", making a repair unsafe, and recommended replacing all four tires instead. He helped me compare options, and we settled on the Michelin Defender 2. I also asked if they would price match Costco's out-the-door price, and they did so immediately and without any hassle. That entire part of the experience was outstanding—professional, transparent, and customer-focused. Before leaving the counter, I confirmed the expected completion time and was told I should be finished by no later than 12:00 PM. Based on that expectation, a friend picked me up around 10:30 AM and dropped me back at noon. I also expected to receive text updates as promised. Unfortunately, that's where the experience changed. When I returned at noon, I hadn't received any notifications, and my vehicle hadn't even been moved from its original parking spot. I checked with an employee, who informed me there were still 5 walk-ins ahead of me and estimated another 1½ to 2 hours before my car would even be taken in. This was surprising because it completely contradicted the timeline I had been given at check-in. I continued waiting, checked again around 2:00 PM, and was told my car would be brought in shortly. The work was finally completed around 3:10 PM, and I arrived home around 3:30 PM—nearly six hours after arriving for what I initially expected to be a simple flat repair. To be clear, I have no issue with waiting if that's what the workload requires. I understand unexpected delays happen and walk-ins can be difficult to schedule. My frustration isn't with the wait itself—it's with the inaccurate expectation that was set at the beginning. Had I been told upfront that the job might take most of the day, I could have made an informed decision about whether to leave the vehicle, schedule an appointment, or explore another option. Instead, I planned my day around a noon completion time that was never realistic. This single experience isn't enough to make me stop using Discount Tire. I've always had positive experiences here, and the staff's professionalism, tire recommendations, and willingness to price match reinforced why I continue to trust the company. My suggestion is simple: set realistic expectations rather than optimistic ones. Customers are generally very understanding when they're given accurate information. Under-promise and over-deliver whenever possible. Better communication throughout the day—and proactively notifying customers when timelines change—would have turned this into a much better experience. Discount Tire still earned my business on product selection, pricing, and friendly service. I hope this feedback helps improve the customer experience because I genuinely believe that's what sets your company apart.
Excellent in every respect, couldn’t be better.
I will not return because they scratched my wheels during the tire rotation. I’m a car detailer by trade and I know without a doubt those scratches were not there before the service appointment. So upsetting.
