New Tires and Wheel Store in Omaha, NE 68114

This was my 6th visit to one of three different Discount tire locations. My experience each time was the same. Their staff is knowledgeable, professional, friendly, and hardworking. Discount Tire stores remind me of the independent Goodyear dealership that I managed back in the 70's. I can only hope my customers 50 years ago were as content as I am with Discount Tire.

Quick and friendly

The staff was excellent from start to finish. I placed my order and appointment online, and they called right away to confirm they had my tires in stock the same day. They even offered to adjust my appointment so I could come in sooner. I was in and out with four brand-new tires in under 40 minutes. Outstanding service and great customer care!

Despite having had fine experiences with this Discount Tire location previously, I had an extremely disappointing appointment at 7808 Cass Street in Omaha. Mitchell, assistant manager, started off by visually inspecting my tires, and informing me that they would try to repair a screw in my tire but "more than likely I'd need four new tires" which wouldn't be covered by our paid warranty, which I had previously purchase through Discount Tire for all four tires. The longer I was there, Mitchell became more condescending and honestly did not seem to have a great grasp on why he was denying replacing my tires covered by warranty, yet continued to insist that it would not be honored (this was before the car was looked at by a mechanic). Eventually he implied that the warranty wouldn't be valid because of tire wear that he could see, and then two hours later when my car was finally inspected, stated it wouldn't be valid because of the wheel alignment. It felt the entire visit like he was searching for a reason not to honor our existing, paid certificates, and spoke to me (a woman, stereotypically) like I had no idea what I was talking about with my vehicle. I will not be visiting this Discount Tire location again.

Their team was able to get my tire repaired quickly (under an hour). Great service!

Nice clean store. The wait is long sometimes and the staff can be a little inattentive, but they get the job done.
