I had an appointment on 7/24 at 3:00 for a tire leak and a rotation and balance on all four tires. The tech informed me that they found a small screw in the outer tread band and could not replace. The leak was very slow so I asked him to leave it go, and I’d replace closer to winter. He asked if I wanted to proceed with the rotation and balance, I confirmed that I did. About 30 minutes later they pulled my vehicle around, I asked the tech to confirm they rotated and balanced the tires and he said they did. I drove away and immediately notice a loud sound and something doesn’t feel right. I drive back to the shop and was greeted. This tech looked and saw that they left adhesive weights attached to the tread of my tire with double sided tape. I then asked him to show me where the tire leak was and he called another tech out to confirm. It was in the original spot that I brought it in. I questioned how this was possible and was then told they did not rotate and balance any of the tires, despite handing me a receipt showing they did and verbally confirming. At this point Discount Tire has lost my trust and despite owning five vehicles and purchasing new tires for all of them in the past two years from this location, I’m going to have to look for another, more trustworthy establishment. I can no longer recommend this shop.

With 16 cars in total I visit this store rather often. I am always greeted by name by Jasper. Very polite and professional. I have also had the need to seek out tire replacement while traveling to a National Lincoln Event in Michigan. I pulled up my account and found a location in Dearborn Heights. White detailing my 2008 Lincoln Mark LT pickup I noticed my tires had dry rot. I needed a quick replacement and they took me in as soon as I arrived having booked the first appointmen of the day and purchased my tires online in advance. Another customer bark at me about getting in ahead of everyone waing to purchase tires. He hand showed up not knowing what he wanted and had to hear all his choices while he complained about the cost on all of them. It really pays to know what you want and purchase ahead of time.

The store and waiting area was neat and clean. I received great assistance in ordering my tires since they were not a stock item. The tires arrived when promised and were installed in a timely manner. The associates seemed to appreciate my business and were very professional.

Tim was great with communication and prompt service. My wife really appreciated his professionalism.
