Great service!
I made appointment on line and arrived 15 minutes early. Unfortunately my vehicle was not put in the stalls for 40 minutes after my appointment. Total time after appointment time was 1 hour which usually take only 30 minutes.
Izabella is amazing!.
I have been a Discount Tire customer for well over 15 years. During the course of this period I can recall no issues that were not handled quickly, professionally and to my satisfaction. This I attribute to one individual, Chris Berry, the Store Manager of the Anderson, South Carolina facility. Chris isn't only the example, he has instilled these customer service characteristics in all his employees. He has, from my observation, “led from the front”. Rarely, have I witnessed him in the office. He’s out front talking to customers, assisting with the desk agents as they greet and assist customers or walking through the garage area observing technicians as they are performing their jobs. A recent example occurred in the spring of 2026 I had brought 1 of my 3 vehicles in for routine rotation. While sitting in the waiting area I observed 2 young technicians preparing to start a procedure that clearly should require a safety shield or goggles. One of the technicians was wearing what appeared to be prescription glasses non safety the other no protection what so ever. As the two began their work, Chris Berry Store Manager, was coming down the bay line from the rear of the store about 2/3 of the way down a technician stops him with a question about a tire he removed and was inspecting, the sound of the device the other 2 techs were preparing to use made Chris look up and within 3-5 seconds he paused his discussion reference the tire he was looking at and went immediately to the 2 young techs and the cutting/polishing type device the 2 were fixing to use. He without any signs of anger, aggravation, or displeasure asked the 2 to shut the machine down and then he proceed to first ask where their protective eye protection was, obviously the one with none (I would bet a new employee). Chris said some additional instructions and stepped away out of my line of sight but returning within a minute with a pair of new safety goggles which he presented to the new tech. He then ask the senior tech to let him inspect his glasses after what appeared to be a brief explanation why the glasses he was wearing did not afford the protection that was needed he instructed him to go get his issued safety goggles, which he did. Chris Berry’s attention to his surroundings and his employees working and using the right equipment and company mandated safety devices was an outstanding example of a Manager seeing a wrong and taking immediate action to correct and prevent a potential accident from occurring. Immediately, afterwards Chris went back to the bay that the other technician and he were discussing a particular tire, That tech had continued on with the other tires that where without problems and he Chris resumed the inspection of the tire in question and bring said tire out of the work area and he, the customer and technician discussed alternatives. Chris is a very big part of why I am a loyal Discount Tire customer. Dale Ellenburg
