I checked into my hotel on 2/1. The next day I left the hotel and found my rear tire @ 4psi. I was close to a gas station and got air in the tire it seemed to hold so I dropped my GF off to get her hair done and began looking for a tire place to get the tire taken care of. I settled on Discount Tire which was relatively close by. They took me right in and a sat and waited. The service writer told me up front that they did not have the same tire in stock should I need a replacement. After a while they took my vehicle in and a short time later they pulled it out and parked by the door and the tech came in called my name and handed me my key and said you are all set. There was a screw in the tire and it was repairable. I said what do I owe and he said nothing. I was floored. I thanked him and left. The next day when we left the hotel my tire sensor indicated the same tire was lower than the rest. We immediately went back to Discount Tire and they took me right in. The service writer when he went out to get the information told me the way I parked the plug was right on top and he got a soap spray bottle and the plug wasn't leaking. They took it right in and in no time the vehicle was back out front and I was being called over. They found a small piece of metal in the tire and were able to repair it again for free! While I was waiting the first time I was looking at what it would cost me for 2 tires since my vehicle is 4WD and when I replace one tire I need to replace both on the same axle. I found their prices competitive and that they will match prices for the same tire from competitors. The first place I will check when I need tires for my vehicles (I have 3 of my own and my daughter has hers) will be a Discount Tire near me.
