I’ve trusted Discount Tire with all of my vehicles and have always had good experiences, which is why this situation was disappointing. I recently purchased a new vehicle and stopped in both to inquire about a service warranty and to have a low tire checked. The associate took my vehicle back, inspected the tire, and added air. I was told everything looked fine and that there were no visible issues. However, the next morning the tire was completely flat. When I removed the tire to bring it back in, there was a clearly visible screw in the tread. I understand that mistakes can happen, but this was something that should have been caught during a basic inspection. As a result, I had to remove the tire myself, transport it in another vehicle, return to the store, and then reinstall it afterward. I still value the company overall, but this experience was frustrating and could have been avoided with a more thorough check.
