I ordered my wheels, tires, and new pressure sensors online. I was offered a time to set an appointment online, so I did for the following week. I arrived early for my appointment, and even used the text feature that I was there, and still had to wait in line, which is ok, but why text I'm there if it doesn't do anything? The store did not have my wheels and tires in stock, and so the install was not done. Why did the website allow me to schedule an appointment if the items I ordered were not there, nor were they going to be there the following week when I showed up. Once the staff realized my items were not in stock, they left me at the counter alone and seemed to try to avoid me, as though they were not willing to tell me. It is annoying when you have to schedule time off of work to get tires installed, and it can't be done, meaning I have to schedule another time off from work again later. I was informed that I would be called next week, when my tires and wheels arrived. I was not called. I had to call to find out that the tires and wheels had arrived. So I went to Discount tire again, to get my tires installed. After the installation, I drove back to work, discovering that the pressure sensors were not syncing to my truck display, because I was reading the same pressures of my old tires. I got out to check the tire pressure myself, they were at around 38 PSI, but my truck showed 35 psi on all tires except for the old leaky tire I had on the back right, still showed on the display as 32 psi. This is how I knew the sensors were not working. So I went back to Discount Tire again, making it my third trip to go there. I told them the sensors were not working, so am employee went out and set them again so that they would work. I was told that they were probably synced already when they were installed, but that I had to drive the truck for a while before they would work. But I had already driven my truck for a total of half an hour, but still no new readings. So I left Discount Tire, and the sensors synced up to the truck before I made it out of the parking lot, which tells me the installers did not sync them. Almost a week after I got my new wheels and tires, I got an email from Discount Tire saying that my wheels and tires finally arrived at the store, and that I could make an appointment to come in and get them put on. So I called the store and informed them that they had already installed them last week. The guy on the phone said that somebody probably wasn't paying attention, and messed up the inventory, or something like that. So I told them to clear their inventory from my name as pending, but that it was already completed. My problem with Discount Tire here, is that there are a lot of holes in the system, from the ordering online, to the appointment making, to the texting feature that says I showed up - there seems to be too many things not communicating with each other, from the technology, to the management, to the staff, to the customer, something is not lined up properly somewhere. I would not be writing all of this if I did not have to take off from work twice, and go to discount tire 3 times before the job got done properly. I will use Discount Tire again, because the coverage and service bonuses are worth it, but please, for the next time, I would like things to be a little bit more ironed out so I don't have to lose so much work time. It takes a lot of effort for customers to set a schedule, only to find out nothing is going to happen. Ray J
