About Our Tire Shop

Welcome to Discount Tire in Amarillo, adjacent to El Alamo Park. We are located on the Interstate 40 Access Road, west of Ross Street/Osage Street between Quality Inn East and Days Inn. We have easy access on and off of I-40 and what you need for rims and tires!

Come in and get a complimentary air pressure check and inspection. We have the largest parking lot in town, plus we can service all sizes and types of trailers! We even install 17.5" and 19.5" tire sizes at this location to be your one stop tire shop.

Our friendly service experts are ready to take care of you in our six service bays. Our precision services include wheel and tire installation, rotation, balancing, and repair. Enjoy free Wi-Fi in our showroom!

If you get hungry, there are restaurants nearby, including IHOP, McDonald’s, and Schlotzsky’s, to name a few. If you want to catch some fresh air, check out the El Alamo Park (they even have a splash pad for the kids.)

Associate have no knowledge. I had appointment at 1pm. Came in at 12:30 to check in. Associate said car will be done at 2:45. I asked even with appointment I still have to wait that long. Associate said we got 11 people ahead of you. I said the maximum per hour to schedule online is only 4 why so many people. After my car done, I drive off and my tire sensor came up. Left front tire 50 psi , right front tire 33 psi, right rear tire 49psi and left rear tire 36psi. I drove back ask the manager, he said maybe associates read the front and back tire backwards. I thought both front should be the same and rear should be the same too. The manager said I will fix it for you. I wait for about fifteen minutes and then maybe he relied he forgot about me so send an associate to help fix my tire psi. Two associated were looking at me and laughing.
