About Our Tire Shop

Discount Tire in the North Burnet neighborhood of Austin has you covered for tires and rims! We are located right on the corner of West Braker Lane and Burnet Road, across Burnet from Jimmy John’s and across Braker from McDonald’s. Stop by to get your vehicle a complimentary air pressure check and inspection!

From our eight service bays, onsite experts perform precision services, including wheel and tire installation, rotation, balancing, and repair. Watch from the waiting area in our showroom while you enjoy free Wi-Fi!

There are several large companies close to our store, including IBM Corporation, Indeed, and the Major Soccer League Stadium directly adjacent from us (built on 23 acres and equipped with a park and amphitheater). Check out the Domain Shopping Center for entertainment, food, and shopping! We are also near Weinerschnitzel, Szechuan House, Firehouse Subs, and Summermoon Coffee Bar.

The employees who works at Discoint Tires on Braker and Burnet are so friendly, kind and easy to work with. They do not push or try to rip the customer off. I have been there twice this week and felt so good about the work they did.

I had a scheduled appointment to see about getting new tires. The entire process was very efficient and pleasant. Tony was helpful in showing me my options which helped me make an informed decision. I was very impressed the tires arrived from another store and put on my car within the hour/hour and fifteen minutes time he promised. Alex kept me informed on the timeline as well. I will definitely visit this location again!

They repaired the tires with a nail in it and forgot to replace the TPMS sensor back when they finished, had to go back the next day for them to install a new one in the tire. Probably a one off thing but still, it was a bad experience.
