About Our Tire Shop

Discount Tire in southwest Houston has you covered for rims and tires. We are located on South Post Oak Road just south of West Orem Drive. You can find us next to AutoZone and across from McDonald’s. Come in for a complimentary air pressure check and inspection.

Our store has a large parking lot, perfect for trailers and vehicles of all sizes. We have six service bays with trained experts to service your vehicle and get you back on the road safely and quickly. Services include wheel and tire installation, rotation, balancing, and repair. We even install 17.5" and 19.5" tire sizes at this location to be your one stop tire shop.

Free Wi-Fi is provided in our showroom, or you can enjoy the nearby shopping and dining options while your vehicle is being serviced. Nearby restaurants include Second Seafood, Taco Bell, Jack in the Box, Sonic, and Frenchy’s Chicken, among others. Nearby shopping includes Family Dollar, Walgreens, CVS, and more.

Byron and the entire staff were so helpful and courteous from start to finish. Byron was a great help in helping me choose the right tires for my car, and was able to order the and have them delivered on the same day. I appreciate his honesty and hard work.

I had a good experience. My only complaint would be I pre ordered a tire when I first visited the store monday and when i came back Tuesday for it to be installed i had a pretty long wait time.

The guys were nice. Byron was nice.. came in for 2 tires went for broke and got 3. Flies everywhere. They replaced the little stem in the tire I already had. After that it was all downhill. It was hot, the scanner thing used to reset the sensor would not work, my light NOW just stays on that I have low tire pressure. They said drive it.. I drove over 200 miles and guess what... light is still on. I spend 3.5 hours waiting... which I did not mind.. I knew there were cars ahead of me... I did just show up after working 10.75 hours that day so the nap did me good. Such nice people but couldn't fix what they broke. They definitely tried.. I just refuse to believe that I'm somehow an anomaly with my tire when they specialize in ... tires.. tire pressure.. FIXING all things tires and now they've created a tire problem I did NOT have before buying new tires. Well.. everyday will not be perfect.
