This is my local Discount Tire and I usually trust them when it comes to dealing with issues with my car however this last visit lessened my trust in this location. I came in for a nail in my tire and the employee came outside to check the nail and he confirmed that there was a nail and that they could solve the issue. I left my car there for a hour and a half until it was ready (no issue it was a Saturday) . When I came to pick it up, they confirmed the nail was removed and everything was great. I got in my car and saw the tire pressure was back to normal. Since I have came here before for a nail in my tire and the problem was fixed no issue, I thought nothing different for this visit. However, once I got home I noticed that a different tire looked like it had been worked on. I didnt think anything of it because they said they fixed the problem and my tire pressure was completely fine. After a couple hours, I noticed the tire that had the nail in it was completely flat and thats when I looked closer and realized it still had the nail in it. Part of it is on me for not double checking their work, but when it comes to such a minor issue like this, you wouldnt think you have to. Im just disappointed because I wasted an hour and a half just for them to not solve the problem. It makes me wonder what they were doing with my car and if they even took me serious. It also worries me because if they can slip up on something so simple, what would have happened if I had a major issue? Im not trying to jeopardize anyones job but maybe this review will remind someone out there to always double check and maybe remind the mechanics to check ALL tires not just the one.
