About Our Tire Shop

Come to Discount Tire for your next set of rims and tires! Serving southern Plano and areas surrounding the University of Texas at Dallas, our store is on the corner of Coit Road just north of West President George Bush Turnpike (Route 190). Access our parking lot from southbound Coit Road; if you’re heading north, you’ll need to make a U-turn in front of Sam’s Club to enter our location. There is no entrance off of the President George Bush access road.

Stop in for a complimentary air pressure check and inspection! We’re committed to the highest level of customer service. Our highly trained experts perform wheel and tire installations, rotations, balancing, and repairs in our five state-of-the-art service bays.

You are welcome to sit in the showroom and enjoy free Wi-Fi while your vehicle is being serviced. If you prefer to shop or get something to eat, we are walking distance to Taco Bell, Sonic, Walmart, Steak ‘n Shake, and Whataburger. 

We happily accept walk-ins, or you may make an appointment!

Wade and team were amazing. Got my corvette tires in lightening fast within a couple of hours after I had a huge hole in one and installed them just as quick. Great experience!

I've always gone to Discount Tire for my tire needs and at every location I've been to the people and service have been great (and the prices are good as well), but the most recent time I went was the even better! It is somewhat rare in life to encounter an employee who is as friendly to me and everyone else around as Benjamin was! And when a pressure check revealed that one of my tires should get looked at (I had assumed nothing would be wrong and it would be a quick check/air top-off and had groceries in the car) he offered to put my milk in their fridge so it would stay fresh! (Fortunately my tire was fine as well!) They treat people well here :)

This review is for two visits. I was there on 2 consecutive days for different needs. First to get new tires for my wife's car, and then back the next day to get the tires rotated on my car. The review for either visit would be the same. Excellent service form everyone I encountered. I am speaking specifically about the location at 209 Coit Road in Plano, TX. I have used this facility for decades and have never had a negative experience. Thanks especially to Ryan who assisted me in the tire purchase ( Amazingly, he also remembered and recognized me as a long time customer, even though he had been away form this location for a while). Also, their follow up care for flats and tire rotations is second to none.
