I had a flat tire yesterday. I called the store at 3:30 PM to see if I could bring it down right away. James answered the phone and told me that was no problem but that a walk-in would be an hour and a half wait. That was no problem because I had to get it done. Once I got there and checked in, James again said it would be about an hour and a half. However, they finished up my car within 30 minutes and I was on my way in a very happy customer. James was extremely kind and helpful.

My first experience with Discount Tire completely won me over, all thanks to Jason. After Sam's Club tire shop failed to resolve my tire balance issue on two separate attempts, I walked into Discount Tire looking for answers. Jason assisted me immediately, listened to my situation, and successfully resolved the balance issue on his very first try. He also took the time to explain how Discount Tire matches competitor prices, including wholesale clubs, which was incredibly helpful. Thanks to Jason's exceptional customer service and technical expertise, he officially earned Discount Tire a loyal new customer. I was so impressed that when my brother came to town and needed his tires balanced before heading back home, I immediately brought him straight Discount Tire because of Jason.

Joe at Discount Tire was absolutely amazing. From the moment I walked in, he was friendly, professional, and had such a positive attitude even though the store was clearly very busy. What really stood out was that he took the time to thank everyone for their patience and apologized for the wait, which showed how much he genuinely cares about customers. What I appreciated most is that he looked out for me the way a good human being would. That kind of kindness and customer service is rare these days. I truly wish there were more people like Joe in the world, and Discount Tire is lucky to have a manager like him on their team.

Booked online for 2:00 for tire rotation and balance for tires I bought at that store. I arrived @1:55, waited in line behind three people until 2:25 before being acknowledged by any of three salesmen in red shirts, even though I checked in on the app at 1:55. Then the manager, Joe, for the third time in three visits, badmouthed my truck’s lug nuts and kept trying to upsell me lugnets for five minutes after I told him I was not going to buy new lug nuts. Joe also said that an appointment does not ensure a set time. Three red shirts would answer the phone before they helped the ten people waiting in line. I finally called while I was waiting in line to ask when I shoukd come back. Wes said I would have to talk to Joe, then he went out the door and headed toward Hardee’s. The lobby is just one big cluster. I have had appointments every time and it is always like this at this store. And they always try to upsell you lights and wiper blades without even seeing if yours are worn out. Enough already!! Just provide the service to the customers and get them in the bay and quit wasting everyone’s time. Once in the bay, the technicians got it done in 20 minutes! Good job by the techs. They had excellent throughput! The sales staff had zero throughput. Change your model! No change in two years with continued long wait times to get in a bay, even with an appointment, delayed even further by persistent and belittling attempts at upselling. Your website is flat out lying when it says that an appointment helps. Phone calls are first priority over every person standing in a line waiting, then next in line is second priority, with appointments being third priority. Stop lying on your website and just tell everyone your priorities up front do they can just call first or be first in line when the doors open in the morning. Appointments have no priority.
