Great experience!

The entire Discount Tire team was both courteous and informative offering me appropriate tire options to replace on my own Dodge pickup while at the same time serving several other customers with similar needs. The atmosphere was calm in the store that busy Saturday morning (as busy as it was) in great part due to the serving attitude of Roy and the entire team.

I’ve brought several vehicles in throughout the years. We brought a 2023 F-150 XLT in. To start I set up an appointment when I purchased the tires online, for the next day at 4pm. The store I selected, called us at 11 AM to ask us to come in that afternoon and get it knocked out as they weren’t very busy. So I told them 2:30 and he would be there. He showed up slightly early, but knew there’d likely be a wait. They told him an hour, maybe and hour and a half. 3 hours later, his truck still had not made it into the bay. When he went and asked, they were just pulling it into the bay. 4 hours after he arrived they completed the service, however, the told him they’d recommend the $90 alignment check but if something was wrong they could actually fix the alignment issue on the ford because they’re not allowed to. For whatever reason, my husband bought the alignment check. He comes home that evening and comments on how you can definitely tell he got new tires because it drives differently. Mind you, it was a 5 minute drive home. The next day, he gets on the highway to drive to work and his steering wheel is turned a quarter turn clockwise, but he’s going straight. The alignment was clearly way off. He goes back to the store immediately, and they test drive and “align” it again, telling him it’s all good. He goes to leave the store and his traction control light goes off and the front driver wheel starts making a noise so he turns around IN THE PARKING LOT, and walks back inside and tells the asst manager he’s going to drive it with him. They go, come back and align it AGAIN. They drive it again and now all of the dash lights are going off essentially leaving the truck in limp mode and clearly not aligned. A third time that morning, an hour and a half later the assistant manager finally double checks the techs work and confirms that A: they hooked the sensors back up incorrectly and B: the tech didn’t actually align the tires. For safety reasons, after they finally got it figured out we took it out to Ford and had them inspect and it finally was correct. The complete incompetence of not one, but three technicians over the two days to not only not align the wheels, but upsell my husband on an alignment check and the NOT EVEN ALIGN THE WHEELS, is abhorrent. I will never ever recommend this store again, especially if this is how future service will be after spending well over $3000 there in the last couple months.
