Kyler and the folks changing tires, two in parallel, work hard, fast and conscientiously even though it was end of day and crazy hot. You folks rock and should add an extra $10 or so per tire and pay it to the employees. I’d far rather have tire service here than at the Mercedes dealership … anytime. Such a better experience all around.

I love Discount Tire's low prices and quick turn around. If ALL you need is a set of tires, there's no better place for just how quick you can get a set of tires for good prices... That being said there was a glaring issue I must address... They apparently can NOT figure out how to lower (or lift) the spare tire up under the rear of my 2001 4Runner. I do not have the factory tool in my car, so I told the service writers up front TWICE and was assured TWICE they should be able to figure it out. I was then told that their tools, which they claimed "are made for us" whatever that means, would not interface with my vehicle and they were worried it was corroded up under there because they couldn't figure out how to lower the spare. They told me they would save my last tire for when I could go figure out the "problem" of lowering my spare FOR THEM. This is a BIG issue for a TIRE ONLY SHOP. It's literally the ONLY job Discount Tire is supposed to be able to do, but they are missing an important skill set and physical tools to be able to access certain SUV spare tires. This is bad, especially if someone gets their vehicle towed there for a flat and need to get their spare put on... Discount would have to turn me, or someone else with the same kind of spare tire lift mount away from their business! FYI my spare mounting system was in perfectly fine shape. There was NO problem what so ever. I drove down the block to ANOTHER tire place, who said Discount should have had a proper set of UNIVERSAL spare lowering tools like they did. They were able to lower my spare NO PROBLEM in one minute, so I could drive my spare BACK to Discount to get my tire mounted, and then I had to drive BACK to the competitor shop to get the spare lifted back up... I'm LUCKY the other shop didn't charge me for their help doing this, so I bought them some cookies as a thank you. THEY know what they're doing. Discount, for the love of everything holy please GET SOME UNIVERSAL SPARE TOOLS AND TRAIN YOUR EMPLOYEES HOW TO USE THEM. It NEEDS to be part of their job, especially in emergency tow-in situations where you could LOSE BUSINESS.

People are helpful and customer first. Prices are competitive with all other dealers.
