Does Discount Tire Participate in Tire Recycling?
Our exclusive Sentury and Mohave brands, the first to partner with Liberty Tire Recycling services, will turn end-of-life tires into usable materials like mulch (remember, rubber comes from plants!) and crumb rubber (for safer athletic tracks, playground surfaces, and artificial turf). Other tire elements — like metal wire — may also be reusable and recyclable. Components that can’t be recycled are disposed of properly.
Bottom line? No Sentury or Mohave tires taken out of service at Discount Tire will end up in a landfill!
